Admission Process Overview

  • The admission process of Rajshahi University consists of two stages: preliminary application and final application.

Eligibility Criteria

  • To apply for admission in Rajshahi University, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
    • You have to pass the SSC or equivalent exam in 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021.
    • You have to pass the HSC or equivalent exam in 2023 or 2022.
    • You have to obtain a total GPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC for Humanities group, 7.50 for Business Studies group, and 8.00 for Science group.
    • You have to obtain a minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and HSC for Humanities group, 3.50 for Business Studies group, and 3.50 for Science group.

Application Procedure

  • To apply for admission in Rajshahi University, you have to follow these steps:
    • Visit the admission website: admission.ru.ac.bd and click on the “Online Application” button.
    • Fill up the application form with your personal, academic, and contact information. You have to choose your preferred unit and subject according to your eligibility.
    • Submit the application form and note down your application ID and password.
    • Pay the application fee of 1320 BDT for A unit, 1100 BDT for B unit, and 1320 BDT for C unit through bKash, Rocket, SureCash, or Nagad.
    • After paying the fee, log in to the admission website with your application ID and password and download the admit card. You have to print the admit card and bring it to the exam center.

Admission Test Date and Seat Plan

  • The admission test of Rajshahi University will be held on March 5, 6, and 7, 2024. The test will be conducted in four shifts: morning, noon, afternoon, and evening.
  • The test schedule for each unit is as follows:
    • A unit (Humanities, Business Studies, and IBA): March 5, 2024
    • B unit (Science and Engineering): March 6, 2024
    • C unit (Biology and Geology): March 7, 2024
  • The test duration for each unit is 1 hour and the total marks are 100. The test will consist of 80 MCQ questions and 20 marks for previous academic results.
